Hazardous Weather

Hazardous Weather Training discusses how to minimize risks from the weather to our scouting family. The training is available at any time online as part of the Training section of My.Scouting.org. 

If you’ve never visited this site before, you’ll need to click the “create account” button and then follow the instructions. If you are a registered BSA member, have your BSA membership ID number handy.

From the My.Scouting.org portal, click “My Training” from the menu. Under “Training Courses by Program”, select “Cub Scouting.” Next select “Catalog” from the top navigation bar. In the search field, type “weather.” Click the “visit” button on the Hazardous Weather Training Course. Upon completion, you may print a training certificate to submit to the camp staff. Your training will automatically be updated in BSA's system and associated with the member ID/reference number issued when you created the account.

Hazardous Weather training is valid for two years.
